PDP Thugs Go On Rampage In Lagos

As the presidential election draws nearer with
the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) having
intensified campaign rallies in parts of the
country, some suspected political thugs of the
PDP were pictured causing damage in the Ikorodu
area of Lagos state on Monday.
Suspected PDP thugs destroying Akinwumi Ambode
billboard, the APC governorship candidate in Lagos
state.
Meanwhile, this act by suspected PDP field soldiers is
considered as a breach of the peace accord that was
signed by aspirants ahead of the elections.
Such actions have resulted in political violence as it
will be recalled that Osun state governor, Rauf
Aregbesola, and the PDP candidate in Osun East
Senatorial District, Francis Fadahunsi, are currently
accusing each other of being responsible for the
political violence that recently erupted in Ilase and
Ibokun in Obokun local government area of the state.
